A current Pool ID is required for entry to the pool. Having a Pool ID system for allows us to maintain pool access for residents while restricting access for non-residents (formerly a significant problem). Residents were notified of this ID system in writing in February 2011, and the plan was successfully implemented when the pool opened for this summer on May 7. We’re thrilled that hundreds of OXH residents received Pool IDs during the frequent ID sessions which occurred March through July. The last ID session of the summer was July 28. This year, we made over 400 Pool IDs at over a dozen sessions! Email oxhpoolmanager@oxxfordhunt.com with questions.
If you are a new homeowner (or renter who is listed on Omega’s records) who needs a photo ID, a Pool Manager (not lifeguard) will schedule at time to meet with you to get a Pool ID made. Please bring your driver license with OXH address to the ID session, and bring residents age 10+ to be photographed. Or bring a 1″x1″ head-shot photo of any resident who is not present.
Please do not drop off any ID forms or photos at the pool. And please do not try to enter the pool without a Pool ID on file at the pool — it is a violation of OXH Pool Rules, and the lifeguards on duty cannot make a Pool ID nor are they authorized to take ID forms or to make exceptions.
If you are a brand new resident to OXH, you may not be aware of the many ways in which we notified our community of the Pool access information. In the notice of annual meeting sent to every homeowner in February 2011, printed information regarding the pool ID program was included. Every homeowner receives the notice of annual meeting each year. If you are a tenant of a rental property, it is the responsibility of the landlord to inform you of this information. Furthermore, this information has been posted on our website for months (http://oxxfordhunt.com/) and every subscriber to our email list received numerous emails on the program, dates for photos, updates and etc. You can subscribe yourself on our website.
Further still, our pool notices can be followed on Twitter (http://twitter.com/oxxfordhuntpool) and are announced on Facebook: www.facebook.com/pages/Oxxford-Hunt-Pool/203405386360022
Our all volunteer group goes to considerable lengths to get information out to the community, so we can all be promptly informed of our neighborhood news and events. Residents are welcome to become members of any OXH committee or join a monthly meeting of the OXH Board of Directors. Most OXH information can be found on the website at: http://oxxfordhunt.com/
Sincerely,
Pool Managers and Board of Directors, Oxxford Hunt Community Association
