Wine Tasting Club

It’s back! The wine tasting club is open to all residents of Oxxford Hunt interested in learning more about wine and getting to know their neighbors better. The club meets about once a quarter on Fridays at the clubhouse based on availability. Those interested have the option of taking turns hosting the tasting: lining up finger foods, collecting RSVP’s, money and clean up assistance after the event. The fee is typically a nominal per person charge to cover expenses but charges may vary depending on what is included. The host also coordinates a representative from a local wine shop to come in and conduct a professional, educational tasting based on a pre-selected theme. Local wine shops have been used and are already familiar with the regular event to work well with each host.

Not interested in hosting but want to attend? No problem!

Past themes have included wines from around the world, types of wines to pair with certain foods, regional wines from a variety of regions and more! Ideas welcome! Invitations generally go out approximately one month in advance and will include details such as theme, location, what is included and cost. Email the Wine Tasting Club to add yourself to the invitation list. Hope to see you there!
